John Jack Rhoads Obituary

John S. Rhoads, 76, of Ewing Township, died Sunday at the Frankford Hospital in Langhorne, PA.


Born in Trenton, he was a life area resident.


Mr. Rhoads was a retired architect.


He was an Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War.


He received his B.S. and M.Arch in architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.


Mr. Rhoads was a member of the American Institute if Architects (A.I.A.), Trenton Cyrus Lodge # 5 F & AM, and the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine Crescent Shrine Center.


Son of the late Samuel and Camilla Rhoads, brother of the late Elizabeth, William R. and Robert G. Rhoads and husband of the late Jean De Long Rhoads, he is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Richard D. and Margaret Rhoads and David L. and Suzanne Rhoads and several nieces and nephews.


The funeral will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 471 Parkway Avenue in Ewing Township with Reverend Jan Willem van der Werff officiating.


Family and friends may call on Friday from 8:30 to 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Ewing Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at 10 AM at the funeral home.
