Jorge Sare, of Lawrenceville, died Monday at St. Francis Center in Trenton.

Born in Salta, Argentina, Jorge had resided in Lawrenceville since 1961.

He served with the Argentine Army attaining the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Jorge graduated from the University of La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina with a B.S. in Engineering and pursued his Post Graduate work at the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

He was an electrical mechanical engineer and a partner in the operation of Zytron Control Products. Inc. in Ewing Township.

Jorge was a member at the Hamilton Fitness Center and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his loving wife Marta Sare, a son and daughter-in-law George and Karen Sare and his beloved grandchildren Mariah Julia Sare and Daniel James Sare. Also surviving are his brothers Elias and Anthony Sare, a sister Maria Adela Sare, a sister-in-law Ismelda R. Sanchez, his daughter-in-laws mother Theresa Stewart, and close friends, the Kraus, Tramontana, and Hastings families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12 noon at The Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 at the funeral home.
