Evelyn Wright Kubilewicz, 96, of Lawrenceville, died at her home on Sunday surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton she was a Lawrenceville resident most of her life.

Mrs. Kubilewicz was a Gold Life member, and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 458 of Trenton, past president of the Mercer County American Legion Auxiliary, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3022 Auxiliary of Lawrenceville, member and past president of the American Legion Post #458 Senior Citizens Club, member of Lawrence Senior Citizens Club #2, life member of Slackwood Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Legion of Honor of Chapel of Four Chaplains, and partner and chapeau passé of Mercer Salon #268 8 and 40.

Daughter of the late, Harry D. and Nellie Swartz Wright, and wife of the late Charles Kubilewicz she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Joy Kubilewicz of Lawrenceville, her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and George Larsen III of Hamilton Square, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers; Harry, Walter, Harold, and Richard Wright, and her sisters Bertha Noble, Stella Mower and Helen Pentek.

A special thank you to Embracing Hospice for their caring and compassionate support in Evelyn’s final weeks.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
