Helen Ashmen Crawford, 97, of Huntsville, AL died on Friday November 26, 2010 at Grandview Gardens at Redstone Village in Huntsville, AL.
Born in Trenton, she was a Lawrenceville resident most of her life before moving to Alabama in 2007.
Helen had been a secretary for many years for The Drug House Inc., a former division of Smith, Kline & French.
She was a member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church.
Daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie Howard Ashmen, and wife of the late Francis Alexander Crawford, she is survived by her daughter, Helen Louise Fine of Huntsville, AL, her two granddaughters, Lindsay Fine of Oxford, MS and Lauren Fine of Philadelphia, PA and her niece Beverley Uth.
Graveside services will be celebrated on Saturday December 4, 2010 at 1 PM in the Ewing Cemetery with Rev Nina Reeder, pastor of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen’s name may be made to the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, 1039 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
