Laura Ann DiLorenzo (nee Tagliaferro), 57 of Lawrenceville, NJ passed to the glory of heaven on November 7, 2010. Her loving family was blessed to be at her side. Laura led a life full of accomplishment and service. A summa cum laude graduate of Jersey City State College, Laura earned her M.B.A. from Fordham University in New York City. She was a Certified Public Account and worked for private and public companies and accounting firms before establishing her own Public Accounting practice. Constantly seeking new challenges, Laura earned her Black Belt Ni Dan (2nd Degree) in the Isshinryu Discipline of Karate. She always used her talents to assist others. Laura was a certified Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Instructor and Sensei of the Fire Star Dragon Karate Dojo. Laura offered comfort to those in need as a Sexual Assault and Family Violence Counselor and was a Eucharistic Minister for the Homebound. Laura also taught Natural Family Planning along with her husband. She enjoyed many types of Arts and Crafts and was a member of the Red Hat Arts and Crafts Society in Lawrenceville. Surviving Laura are her devoted husband, Edward F. DiLorenzo and loving son Victor Frank DiLorenzo. Laura was the beloved daughter of Eleanor H. May and the late Victor J. Tagliaferro. She was the darling sister of Victor John Tagliaferro and his wife Deirdre and Vincent Tagliaferro and his wife Jeanie. Laura was the beloved sister-in-law of Katherine Squillante, the late Pat Squillante and the late Lucy Sinno. She is survived by her Aunt Florence Kinard, Aunt Delores Gorman and her husband John Gorman, Uncle Peter Merck, nieces Loren DeNegri and Jennifer Tagliaferro and nephews Pat Squillante, Vincent J. Tagliaferro, Nicholas Tagliaferro, James Tagliaferro and Joseph Tagliaferro. Laura was predeceased by her Grandparents Hattie and Stanley Bukowski and Irene and Alfred Glorioso, her Aunt Dorothy Merck, her Uncle Kenneth Kinard, her Step-Father Charles H. May and her dog Yoda. She was blessed with many loving cousins and friends. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O.
