Obituary of Peter J. Cerenzo

Dr. Peter J. Cerenzo, 55, of Mantoloking, died peacefully Wednesday. Born in Trenton, and a former Lawrenceville resident, he had resided in Mantoloking for the past twelve years. Dr. Cerenzo owned and operated Cerenzo Chiropractic Associates in Mercerville. Dr. Cerenzo was a graduate of the Pennington School, and Florida Southern College. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, S.C. His post graduate studies included A.M.A. Permanent Medical Impairment Examination and Credible Medical Fact Finding, Manipulation Under Anesthesia at the New York Chiropractic College Center, and he completed the radiology section at the National College of Chiropractic. Dr. Cerenzo was a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, American Chiropractic Association and was the past president of the Mercer County Chiropractic Society. He is survived by his children Ashleigh Cerenzo of New Brunswick and Corinne and Peter Cerenzo of Lumberton, his parents Peter and Dolores Cerenzo, and a sister Charmaine Murphy and her husband Kevin. Also surviving are two nephews Brendan and Oliver Murphy and several aunts and uncles Joseph and Catherine Vitella, Dr. Donald and Joanne Coppolla and Frank and Sylvia Guidotti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 1370 River Road in Titusville. Private burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the funeral home.
