Obituary of Christopher M. Budzinski

Christopher M. Budzinski, 50, of Lawrenceville died Thursday at Capital Health System Mercer. Born in Trenton, Chris was a former resident of Ewing before moving to Lawrenceville in 1995. He was currently employed as the municipal engineer for the Borough of Princeton and was the former municipal engineer for the Township of Lawrence. Chris was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1978 and Drexel University class of 1983. While at Drexel Chris was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Chris was a life member of the Slackwood Volunteer Fire Company (Station 21). He was an avid golfer and also had coached baseball and basketball for the Lawrence Township recreation league. Son of the late Edmund Budzinski, he is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Smith Budzinski, his two sons, Andrew and Jeffrey at home; his mother Stella Budzinski of Lawrenceville; his brother, Edmund Budzinski and his wife Christine of Lawrenceville; his sister, Linda Johnson and her husband Michael of Robbinsville; his father and mother in law, Russ and June Smith of Barnegat; his brother in law Greg Smith and his wife Caroline of Burlington; his sister in law Kim Nutt of Barnegat; his two nieces, Lindsey and Lauren Nutt and nephew Eric Nutt all of Barnegat, as well as many friends and extended family members. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 Am at St. Michael’s R. C. Church, 1130 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, with the Very Rev. Msgr. James G. Innocenzi officiating.
