Julianne was a young mother with two little girls who lived across the street from my grandmother. I was about twelve years old at the time, but I remember that she used to wheel the baby carriage up and down with another neighbor, her friend Kate Mahan. I believe Kate also passed away a number of years ago.
It was a friendly neighborhood then and I imagine that now she and Kate might be reliving the old times, sharing stories and watching over their children.
