Violet M. Disbrow, 95, of Lawrenceville, died Monday at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall.
Born in Newark, Violet resided in Belleville for thirty-five years before moving to Lawrenceville ten years ago.
She was formerly employed as an operator with Bell Telephone in Newark.
Violet was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Madison and the Madison Township P.T.A.
Predeceased by her first husband William L. Disbrow Sr., and her second husband Raymond Disbrow, a son Douglas Disbrow, brothers Sonny and George Granger and sister Gladys Granger, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William L. and Donna Disbrow, a granddaughter Stephanie Disbrow, and a sister Norma Theting.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 7 PM.
A private interment service will be held on Saturday at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
