William E. Cappiello, 77, of Lawrenceville died Wednesday at St. Francis Medical Center.

Born in Trenton, he was a life long area resident.

William was a former co-owner, along with his father of Franks Cleaners and Dyers on N. Clinton Avenue, Trenton retiring after 60 years of service.

He was active with the Knights of Columbus, Council #3756, an usher at the Church of St. Ann and was very involved with local youth soccer as a coach.

Son of the late Frank and Rosemarie Cappiello and husband of the late Joyce Rock Cappiello, he is survived by his sons, William E. Cappiello, Jr., John Cappiello and his wife Tina, Claude Cappiello and Robert Cappiello; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Chris, Amanda and Victoria Rose; a brother, Frank Cappiello; and a sister, Theresa Castellano; and nieces and nephews, Frank, Annmarie, Elaine, Chris and Andrea.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
