Obituary of Eleanor M Riegel

Eleanor M. Riegel, 84, formerly of Ewing Township, died Wednesday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Ewing Township she resided her entire life in Ewing until moving to Hamilton four months ago. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Oscar “Ott” Riegel, with whom she graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1942. Together, they co-owned Circle R. Printing for over forty years. Up until the time of her death, Eleanor was employed by On Campus Marketing in Ewing Township. She was an avid reader and enjoyed vacationing at Long Beach Island and the Poconos with her family. Daughter of the late Frank and Edith Sweeney Weber and wife of the late Oscar C. Riegel Jr., she is survived by a sister Fay Roupp and a brother F. Clifford Weber. Also surviving are two daughters, Suzanne McIntosh of Cherry Hill, and Randy (Bob) Patterson of Jackson, TN, and one son Chris Riegel and his companion Barbara Atwood of Hamilton. Additionally she has five grandchildren Robert Patterson Jr. and his wife Lisa, Bart Patterson and his wife Tricia, Jesse McIntosh, Christopher Riegel and Todd Patterson, as well as four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Monday at 12 noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with Reverend Nina Reeder, pastor of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
