Henrietta Kulak died on January 19, 2010, at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center, she was 94 years of age. Born in Trenton in December 30, 1915, she was raised and educated in Poland and returned to the United State as a young adult in 1936, and resided in Trenton and Lawrenceville since. Daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria Rzepka Koza, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. Kulak, and several brothers and sisters in Poland, she is survived by hers sons Robert Kulak, Dr. Chester Kulak and wife Eileen, Richard Kulak and wife Virginia Kulak all of Lawrenceville, Joseph Kulak of Whiting NJ. Daughter Gerry Mika and husband Edward of Passadena MD. Her sister, Mary Kocaj of Lawrenceville and sister Stefania Rolek of Rzeszow Poland as well as cousins Julius Wszolek of Lawrenceville, Sr. Charolette Wszolek of Mt. Arlington NJ, Pauline Colavita of Hamilton, and Vicktor Wszolek of Bordentown, along with numerous nieces and nephews, both in the United States and Poland. Mrs. Kulak leaves behind a legacy of fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was an owner of Royal Cleaners in Lawrenceville with her husband. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:30 at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Hedwig Church in Trenton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Ewing Township. Family and friends may call on Friday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Hedwig’s Building Fund, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton NJ 08638.
