Virginia C. (Ginnie) Misanin, 65, of Whiting, passed away quietly Thursday at the Whiting Healthcare Center.
Born in Trenton with Down�s Syndrome, Virginia was a loving and happy soul from childhood throughout her adult life.
Ginnie was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary McGlade Misanin, and sister of the late Michael Misanin. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law James and Helen Misanin, two sisters and a brother-in-law Anna Misanin and Mary and Albert Rossi. Also surviving is a sister-in-law Yumiko Misanin, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM in the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contribution in Ginnie�s memory be made to the Special Olympics New Jersey, 3 Princess Road, Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
