Innocenzo Ambrosetti, 78, of Lawrenceville died Sunday at home surrounded by his family.


Born in Torrice, Italy, he had resided in Lawrenceville most of his life.


Arriving in this country in 1960, Inncenzo went to work for Giancarli & Sons. He later found employment with GSG Construction and retired in 1996 after thirty-six years of service.


He enjoyed gardening very much and was known to have the largest garden on his block.


Innocenzo was a member of the Societa Napoletano Club in Chambersburg.


Son of the late Vincenzo and Vittoria Ambrosetti, and brother of the late; Nicola, Sylvio and Pietro Ambrosetti,he is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years Gina Ambrosetti, his sister Severina Onarati of Ripi, Italy, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Antoinette Verrelli, Fernando and Georgina Verrelli, Joseph and Lidia Zomparelli and Frank and Diann Verrelli and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.


The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 AM at St. James R.C. Church, 29 E Paul Ave., Trenton.


Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.


Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum in Hamilton Township.
