Jean Mattaliano Tunnicliffe, 82, of Ewing died Wednesday at Care One in Ewing. Born in Trenton she was a resident of Ewing for the past 54 years. She was employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Defense for 20 years before retiring in 1991. Jean was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lawrence Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #2412 and of the Trenton Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #105. She was also a past member of the Ewing Township Livewires. Daughter of the late Ignazio and Vincenzia Vitellaro Mattaliano, wife of the late, William E. Tunnicliffe, sister of the late, Rose Mattaliano, James Mattaliano, Jack Mattaliano and Florence Sparano; she is survived by her sons, William Tunnicliffe and his wife Janet and Barry Tunnicliffe and his wife Debbie; her grandchildren, Heather, Buddy and Jenny Rose Tunnicliffe; her nieces and nephews, Jean Corso and her children, Donna and Carl Corso, Marge and Tom Tyrell and Jack, Thomas, Jimmy and Mickey Mattaliano. Funeral services for Jean will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with the Rev. Frederick Mechowski, Pastor, of the Church of Our Savior, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ewing Township Animal Shelter, 560 Ingham Avenue, Ewing, NJ 08638.
