Inhi Hong, 72, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at home.
 
Born in South Korea, she emigrated to Chicago to be a nurse before marrying and settling down in New Jersey to raise her three daughters in Eatontown, before moving to Lawrenceville 14 years ago.  Inhi was a retiree of Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, where she was an ICU nurse for many years. Her love for God, her eight grandchildren, and Premier League football ran deep. She was a devoted member and deacon of her church. 
 
Daughter of the late Seoung Rim Chung; she is survived by her husband Sungwon Hong; her daughters Lina Lee, (Harold Lee), Gina Hong (Michael Moranville),  Una Cho (Benjamin Cho); her beloved grandchildren Naomi, Harrison, Emmett, Claire, Maggie, Lydia, Paige and Whitney; her mother Eunsam Ham; her younger sister Mihi Kim, younger brother Hyeon Pil Chung, her older brother Kwang Pil Chung.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 4:00PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

 

Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

 

A visitation for Inhi will be held from 3-4PM on Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
