Obituary of Ventura "Vince" V. Bossio

Ventura (Vince) V. Bossio, 77, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday January 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. Vince served in the United States National Guard.  Vince worked as an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Co. for over 32 years. After retirement he worked for RCN and was a security guard for Robert Wood Johnson Hospital

Vince loved spending time in his backyard attending to his garden, fig and pear tree and relaxing poolside.  He loved hunting and running the beagles.  His hidden passion was woodworking. Vince also loved spending hours on the beach soaking up the sun. 

Son of the late Vincenzo and Emma Bossio; Vince is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Sandra Aveni Bossio; son Michael Bossio, his wife Tracy and granddaughters Ava and Brynn Bossio; daughter Michelle Zimmaro, her husband Robert and grandsons Bobby and Vinny Zimmaro; brother Alfred Bossio, his wife Mary, nephew Daniel Bossio and niece Diana Stahl; sister Mary Ann Bossio; and will be missed by many cousins, neighbors, and friends.

The visitation for Vince will be held on Friday January 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. 

Mass will follow at 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Ann located at 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Burial will be private
