Loretta J. Sciarrotta Obituary

Loretta J. Sciarrotta, 86, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Serenity Hospice @ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.


 


Loretta was born in Trenton, where she resided until moving to Hamilton. She attended school at St. Hedwig and graduated from Trenton High School class of 1956, where she excelled academically and made many lifelong friends. She remained a devoted member of the church and was proud of her Polish heritage. Loretta is a retiree of the original Security National Bank on Brunswick Avenue where she worked for over 30 years as an assistant branch manager.


 


Daughter of the late Adam and Anna Murranka; wife of the late Peter Sciarrotta, Loretta is survived by her son, Ronald (and wife Alyse), daughters Lynne and Paula; brother John and brother-in-law James; grandchildren Samantha, Evan (and wife Gabriella), Rachel Adams (and husband William), and Christine Baum; and many other beloved cousins, niece, nephews, friends, and family members.


 


Loretta lived a full and happy life with an infectious laugh. Everyone she touched will miss her deeply.


 


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:30AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08648.


 


Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.


 


The visitation for Loretta will be held on Wednesday morning from 8:30AM to 10:00AM. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
