Helen Theresa Itzcowitz, 86, of Lawrenceville, died at home on Sunday. Born in Trenton, she resided there most of her life before retiring to Hightstown and most recently was a resident of Lawrenceville. Helen was a graduate of Holy Cross Parochial School and Trenton High School. She had been a machinist for Circle F (GTE) in Trenton for thirty years before retiring in 1984. Helen was a member of The Church of St. Ann, and an active member of the Lawrence Senior Center. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Leona Kalwator Kozicz, and wife of the late Martin Itzcowitz, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Nathan B. and Eden Itzcowitz, two daughters, Marcia N. Leach and her partner Brian Leahy, and Helen Pierson, grandchildren; Robert K. Reinhardt Jr., Rebecca Reinhardt and her partner Thomas Pellegrino, Jacob, Maya, and Talia Itzcowitz and Rachel and Patrick Pierson, great granddaughters; Kayla Marie Reinhardt and Lily Grace Pellegrino, a sister-in-law, Gertrude Bonatti-Zotta, brothers-in-law; Victor Zotta and Samuel Nalbone and many loving nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. www.poulsonvanhise.com. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 200 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015
