“ With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shyam K Ram, on May 3rd 2024. Born in 1938, and raised in Ba, Fiji Islands, she was the daughter of an indentured laborer and was one of nine siblings. Shyam K Ram was also a talented tailor, known for her creativity and skillful craftsmanship.

She was the cherished wife of the late Bal Ram and the loving mother of Anjani, Dinesh, Manoj, and Ranjini. Shyam K Ram will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Shyam K Ram was more than a mother; she was the heart and soul of our family. Her love knew no bounds, and her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. Her warm smile and gentle spirit brought comfort to all who knew her.

She dedicated her life to her family, and her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. We will miss her dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with our father in eternal peace.

A funeral service will be held to honor her memory on Monday May 6th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ewing Crematory Chapel, 78 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ 08628.
