Obituary of Eleanor M. Stuzynski

Eleanor “El” Stuzynski of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 from a hemorrhagic stroke that occurred on February 14, 2024. She remained hospitalized since that date.
Eleanor was born on January 21, 1940 and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. Predeceased by her parents Valentine and Mildred(Odasz) Misialowski. Eleanor attended Saint Hedwig’s Grammar School and has been and has been a lifelong parishioner. She attended Trenton High School. After graduating, she worked in the admissions office at Saint Franics Medical Center. Eleanor also worked for the New Jersey Department of Education until her retirement after 25 years of dedicated service. Eleanor loved animals, especially all her cats. She enjoyed bingo and trips to Atlantic City. She loved time spent with all her family and going on road trips down south.
Eleanor was predeceased by her sister June Reed Sochalski Misialowski, her nephew Christopher Reed and her very beloved, special great-niece Chelsea Faith Reed. Both Christopher and Chelsea died at early ages from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
Eleanor is survived by two sisters, Barbara Misialowski Pasquito and Irene Misialowski Sielski, both of Lawrenceville; her nephew and godson Frank Val and Darielle Pasquito of Hopewell, David Scott and Robyn Pasquito of Lawrenceville; her nieces Lisa and Ken Kiernan of Lawrenceville, Jennifer Reed and Andy Gomet of Savannah, GA, and Georgia and Valarie Reed of Trenton; many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:30AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held at St. Hedwig cemetery, Ewing Twp., NJ.
The visitation for Eleanor will be held on Friday morning from 9-10AM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to Easel Animal Rescue and Pet Adoption, 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628 of to an local non-kill animal shelter.
