Obituary of Jane Ann Krech

Jane Ann Krech, 65, of Hilton Head, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday April 8th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ she resided in Hilton Head, SC and Charleston, SC for the last two years. Jane grew up in Lawrenceville, NJ and was a graduate of the Sister Georgine Learning Center of Trenton, NJ. Growing up Jane enjoyed reading, swimming, dancing, and music. She was a participant in many dance recitals with the Talk of the Town Dance Studio in Trenton as well as several Special Olympics. Daughter of the late Walter Krech and Dorothy Bartzak. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Karen Krech of Hilton Head, SC and her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Dr. Stephen Monfre of Charleston. SC. She will be missed by her nephews and nieces; Andrew Krech of Greensboro, NC; Faith Krech of Longmont, CO; Garrett Monfre of St. Petersburg, FL; and Evan Monfre of Richmond, VA; as well as her cousins and many friends including her special caretakers, Linneth Lawrence of Trenton, NJ and the staff at the Life Care Center of Hilton Head, SC. A funeral service and entombment will be held on Monday April 15, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery located at 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ. The visitation for Jane will be held on Sunday April 14, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Special Olympics at specialolympics.org.
