Joseph J. Misiolek, 73, of Lawrenceville, died peacefully Saturday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township. He graduated from Trenton High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from C.V. Hill Refrigeration Company formerly of Trenton. Son of the late Stanley and Charlotte Molis Misiolek, brother of the late Eugene Misiolek and Geraldine Hambley, he is survived by a son Joseph Misiolek Jr., a brother Stanley Misiolek, a sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Richard Pierson, and a sister-in-law Lucille Misiolek. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Shakhawan Rasid and staff (AMU) unit at Capital Health System at Fuld, and the entire staff at Compassionate Care Hospice for their superior care and kindness. The funeral will be held on Friday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Hedwig Church in Trenton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Ewing Township. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Mass Cards or memorial contributions in Joseph's name to St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, N.J. 08638
