Margaret Bodnar, 85, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Northampton, PA, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. Margaret is a retiree of the Lawrence Twp. Public Works where she was a custodian for many years. After her retirement, she was a crossing guard for Lawrence Twp. Margaret was a cook at the Merry Go Round Bar and Restaurant for many years. Some of her hobbies included listening to country music, watching the Hallmark channel, and loved her Native American Relics. Daughter of the late William and Helen Kubin, wife of the late John Bodnar; she is survived by her children and their spouses Tommy and Heather Bodnar, and Joanne and Lee Conner; her dear close friend William Zimmer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The viewing for Margaret will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5-7PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Funeral services will begin at 6:30PM. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Margaret’s memory to Womanspace 1530 Brunswick Avenue, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
