Stuart M. Woody Sr., 52, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday December 24, 2023 in Mount Holly, NJ.

Born in Danville, Virginia, he has been a resident of Lawrenceville since 1999.

Stuart had a passion for tennis and coached many individuals throughout his career as a professional tennis instructor. He loved going to concerts, playing a round of golf, the beach, and attending concerts and operas.

Son of the late Dr. Gordon Woody and Jeanne Gibson, he is survived by his loving wife Winifred (Winnie) Shea, his son Stuart (Gill) M. Woody, Jr; his sister Craig Hatz and her husband Tom—as well as his three brothers: Gordon Woody and his wife Susan, James Woody and his wife Gwen, and Blair Woody and his wife Trudy. Stuart will also be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends—and clients who were like family to him.

Funeral service will be held later and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trinity Church located in Princeton, New Jersey.
