Henry Doroba, 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell, NJ. Henry was the husband of Ewa Doroba, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Nockowa, Poland, he was a long-time resident of Lawrenceville, NJ.

Henry was known for his love of fishing and smoking kielbasa. He was a skilled carpenter and spent two years building the family home. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his wife, Ewa, to visit the casinos and walk along the boardwalk. Henry also loved traveling with Ewa on cruises to Canada and Alaska.

Son of the late Jan Doroba and Zofia Chmiel, he is predeceased by his daughter Michelle. He is survived by his loving wife Ewa; son Richard (Stephanie); daughter Barbara Gizo (Adam); grandchildren Stephen, Andrew, Kate, and Jason. Henry will be missed and loved by his surviving siblings, Mitchell (Jackie) and Helen, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday December 22, 2023, 11 a.m., at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.

Burial will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery,470 Eggerts Crossing Road in Ewing, NJ.

The visitation for Henry will be held on Friday December 22, 2023, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
