Florence Kmiec, 100, of Pennington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at home.

Born in Pennington, NJ, she remained a lifelong resident. Florence was a graduate of Hopewell Valley High School. She was employed as an Officer with Roma Savings Bank in Trenton, until her retirement in 1988. Florence was a longtime parishioner at St. Hedwig Church.

Daughter of the late Blazej and Zofia Zyla, sister of the late Mary Zyla Pietras, Ida Zyla Hullinger, Lillian Zyla and Helen Zyla Dutko, grandmother of the late Celine Didouan wife of the late Julian H. “Lefty” Kmiec to whom she married for 63 years; mother-in-law of the late John Bogdan whom passed away December 4, 2023; she is survived by her daughters Julianne Kmiec Bogdan and Kristina Kmiec Didouan and her husband, Jean-Luc Didouan; one grandchild Amandine Didouan; one niece and nephew Joan Pietras McAuliffe and Frank Joseph Dutko, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00AM at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.

There will be no calling hours.
