Timothy A. Boyan “Chef Taz”, 56, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Jersey and was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. Tim was a wonderful father, friend, and citizen of the community. He was a dedicated chef. In his free time, he loved to “hang with the guys”, riding quads, being near the ocean, boating and enjoying all that life offered outdoors. Son of the late William L. and Tia Boyan; he is survived by his son, Jonathan S. Henderson-Boyan (Tatiana Calderon), his daughter, Emily S. Henderson-Boyan; his life partner, Moragh S. Henderson; his grandchildren, Justin and Rylie Henderson; his siblings, William Boyan, Elisabeth Fry, and Regina Melnyk; and his cousin/“brother”, Joseph M. Boyan, cousin Geoffrey Bray, and many other cousins here & abroad, and countless friends. The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 12-4PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650, Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, with a family eulogy beginning at 4PM. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen www.trentonsoupkitchen.org
