Obituary of Jason A. Greenberg

Please share a memory of Jason to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jason A. Greenberg, 48, of Lawrenceville, passed away on October 1st, 2023 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he had been a resident of the Lawrenceville area for over 11 years. Jason was an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunted in many terrains, including Canada, Alaska, Argentina, Montana, Colorado, and Texas. He enjoyed fishing in New Jersey and Delaware, as well as in the Caribbean. Jason loved country music and was a great movie enthusiast. He could sing the words by heart to many a country song and amazed his family with his ability to recall the names of even the most obscure actors and what films they appeared in. Some of his most memorable vacations included trips to: Ireland, San Francisco, Andalucia Spain, Puerto Rico, and Disney World. Jason was a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a degree in Computer Science. He worked for The State of New Jersey handling web design and as an information technology specialist for 24 years. He was mechanically inclined and always curious about how things worked. A broken appliance, computer, or car was a welcome challenge rather than a headache. Jason never looked the other way when a friend or loved one was in need. He was the first to show up and lend a helping hand. He was generous with his time and talents at all times. He had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met and his good nature made people warm to him instantly. Jason’s family was the center of his world. His loving wife and adoring children were always his first priorities. As a husband, he was a devoted partner and best friend. As a father, he was a loving role model and a source of tremendous fun and laughter. Making lasting memories with his wife and children was something he put into practice daily. He always made time for his extended family on both sides, showing up for every special event and helping the moment he perceived the slightest need. Family first was a guiding motto in his life. He was an amazing son, brother, and uncle. His loss is felt so deeply by his family and everyone his life has touched. Jason is preceded in death by his two daughters, Madeline Elizabeth Greenberg and Julianna Rose Greenberg, and his son, Harrison Charles Greenberg. He is survived by his loving parents Mark Greenberg and Kathy Greenberg; wife Kimberly Greenberg; children Kevin and Brandon Greenberg; brother Brian Greenberg and his wife Elizabeth; sister Stephanie Corris and her husband Leonard; niece Katelyn Corris; niece Camryn Corris; niece Emmaline Greenberg; nephew Chase Greenberg, and many neighbors and friends. Additionally, he was a beloved: son-in-law to Karen Engan, David and Joelle Engan; brother-in-law to Tara and Pratin Shah; and uncle to Jackson and Olivia Shah.
