Obituary of Deborah "Debbie" Park

Please share a memory of Deborah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Deborah “Debbie” Park, 61, of Lawrenceville, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 19, 2023. Born in Trenton, NJ she was a lifelong resident of the Lawrenceville area. Daughter of the late Vincent Grygon, she is survived by her mother Rose Grygon; loving husband Bill; children Liz Park, Mike Park and his wife Stephanie Smith; stepdaughter Jennifer Crowder and her husband Dave; sister Karen Kelley and her husband Robert, nieces and nephews Julia Grygon, Jennifer Gadsby and her husband Bryan, Tim Esgro, Hayley Esgro, Robert Kelley, and Tara Kelley. She is predeceased by her brother, Vincent J. Grygon. Debbie was an avid cook and baker, never letting her guests leave without a bag filled with cookies or other leftovers and always learning new recipes from TV or cookbooks. She grew a bountiful garden in the spring and summer to bring fresh food into her kitchen and spread the beauty of wildlife and flowers. She loved animals, from the birds that visited her backyard, to the horses she rode as a kid, and the family dogs, sneaking them plenty of extra treats when no one was looking. And, most importantly, she loved to laugh and spread laughter to everyone around her. The memorial gathering for Debbie will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 1-3PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Debbie’s name to cancer awareness and research, such as the Cancer Research Institute.
