Eileen Doyle, 93, of Meadow Lakes, East Windsor, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. Born in Trenton, NJ, she resided in the Glendale neighborhood of Ewing Township for 60+ years. Eileen taught in the Ewing school system for decades after starting her career as an educator at Highland Park High School. She was a creative and meticulous homemaker, gardener, and volunteer usher for McCarter Theater/Richardson Auditorium in Princeton, NJ. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Good Counsel, West Trenton; and a former parishioner at Incarnation St. James Parish, Ewing. Eileen is survived by daughter Nan of Cambridge, MA and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00AM Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 Lower Ferry Road, West Trenton, NJ 08628. Interment will be at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ, next to her beloved husband William. Relatives and friends can visit with the family and share their memories of Eileen on Friday morning from 9-10AM at the church. Memorial donations can be made in Eileen's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or a nonprofit organization of your choice.
