Elaine M. Seigfried, 67, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 18, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a resident of Lawrenceville for the last 46 years, and a parishioner of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church.

Elaine loved to fish, travel to Vermont, design and complete fascinating needle point works, and had a unquenchable love for cars, especially Cadillacs, of which she owned nine. Elaine was a lifelong Catholic, and her faith provided her with the bravery and fortitude that she called upon to battle cancer on nearly a half dozen independent instances.

Daughter of the late Richard P. Griswald, Jr. and Mary H. Griswald (Zuczek), she is survived by her loving husband and best friend of fifty years, Michael Seigfried, Sr. Elaine is also survived her two sons, Mick Seigfried and wife Michele (Auletta), and Steve Seigfried and wife Jessica (Dmitruck), and older brother Richard P. Griswald III and family of Ocala, FL. Elaine leaves behind three granddaughters, Madi, Amelia, and Hannah, whom she loved with all her heart.
