Obituary of Elaine F. Kerlin

Elaine F. Kerlin, 85, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at The Landing of Hamilton, Hamilton Square, NJ. Born in Lawrenceville, NJ, she was 1956 graduate of Trenton Central High School, and a long-time resident of Hamilton Twp. Elaine was employed for over 30 years with Heinemann Electric in Lawrenceville, where she held several positions until the firm’s closing. She then was affiliated with Eaton Corp./Heinemann Products in Salisbury, Maryland as a Customer Service Manager for six years, and retired when the company moved to Mexico. While living in Maryland, Elaine was a dedicated volunteer for the Humane Society and the Salvation Army. Predeceased by her parents Lester and Virginia (Lindley) Stout, her husband James M. Kerlin, and her brother Richard J. Stout; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael Kerlin and Kelli Bearer, her daughter Elizabeth “Betsy” Kerlin; four grandchildren Grace and Genna Kerlin, and Jaxon and Margo Bursack who were her pride and joy; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
