Obituary of Constance Buvel

Constance Buvel, 86, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at The Arbor at Freedom Village Brandywine, in Coatesville, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifetime resident of Lawrenceville. Constance was employed by the State Treasury Department as a Trading Assistant until the birth of her first daughter. After dedicating herself to motherhood, she rejoined the workforce as a library aid for the Lawrence Township school district. Always seeking new challenges, she transitioned to Plumb Chiropractic Center where she spent over 20 years as a receptionist and chiropractic assistant, caring for the community. In retirement, she generously baked for friends, family and neighbors, loved to dote on her grandchildren and her cat, Jinger, and enjoyed trips to the local casino with friends and family. Daughter of the late Jack and Anna Colligan and wife of the late Harry Buvel; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen and James Merchant, Dianne and Jeff Wolochowicz; her grandchildren Matthew Reilly, Andrew, Hailey and Jessica Wolochowicz; her sister Jackie Chmielewski; niece Eileen Chmielewski, and nephew John Chmielewski. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12:30PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A private interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, immediately following the service. Visitation for Constance will be held on Monday afternoon from 12:00-12:30PM at the funeral home.
