Obituary of Rosalie Ann Comisky

Rosalie Ann Comisky, 93, of Ewing, passed away on Monday February 13, 2023. Rosalie would have celebrated her 94th birthday on February 26.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a resident of Ewing Township for over 68 years. She was a Nurse’s Aide for 50 years; the last 37 years working as an Infant Care Technician, caring for newborn babies at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton. She attended Cathedral High School and was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Rosalie enjoyed numerous arts and crafts and was extremely talented, particularly at needlepoint. Having a beautiful singing voice, she sang in many choirs over the years. She also enjoyed genealogy and tracked her ancestors to as far back as the 17th century. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her original seven children, fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Leo Snyder and Margaret McCaw; husband of the late Henry F. Comisky; she is survived by four daughters and five sons-in-law Cecelia A. and Joseph Land of Delanco, John Cox, husband to the late Susan M. of Ewing, Rosalie F. Comisky and Jim Castiglione of Bartow, FL, Virginia M. and Walter Dorman of Ewing, and Mary M. and Ken Martin of Robbinsville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark H. of Ewing and Thomas L. and Karen of Lawrenceville; thirteen grandchildren, Maggie, Ian, Erin, Eric, Juliet, Michael, Danielle, David, Matthew, Daniel, Grace, Tommy, and Clara; also preceded by a granddaughter Dawn; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, Tom Snyder and his wife Susan of Lake City, SD; one sister-in-law, Maryanna Bruther of Morrisville, PA; very special person Richard Lidholm and his late wife Emily of Trenton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation for Rosalie will be held on Thursday February 16, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday February 17, 2023 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel located at 137 W. Upper Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ 08628.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery located on Cedar Lane in Hamilton, NJ.
