Regina DeGasperis Obituary

Regina DeGasperis, 85, of Lawrenceville, died Thursday at Capital Health System at Mercer after a brief illness.


Born in Norwich, CT., she had resided most of her life in Lawrenceville.


Regina enjoyed playing bridge and gardening and especially loved listening to her grandson Harrison play the guitar and watching her granddaughter Jenna playing tennis tournaments.


Wife of the late Samuel DeGasperis, she is survived by her daughter Trish Sanborn and her husband Ken, a grandson Harrison Sanborn and a granddaughter Jenna Starr Sanborn, all of Longboat Key, FL., two sisters in Connecticut and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her magnificent neighbors Maddy, Krissy, Rob, Mimi and Carl.


A memorial service will be held in the spring on Longboat Key in Florida on her favorite beach. Regina was the best mother a daughter could ask for.


Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 60, Trenton, NJ 08601.
