Obituary of Marie L. Gronert

Marie L. Gronert, 85, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Hamilton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. Marie was a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School, Class of 1955 Marie retired as the proprietor of Lawrence Road Florist, a company that she and her late husband Carl owned for many years. Marie was a former member of Lawrence Senior Club #2. She enjoyed her biannual trips to Disney world, numerous Disney cruises, her Disney Vacation Club membership that she and her daughter owned and snuggling with Winnie her kitty cat. Daughter of the late Edward E. and Marie L Tilton; wife of the late Carl E. Gronert, mother of the late Carl M. Gronert; she is survived by her daughter Linda M. Gronert; her brother John A. Stevenson, her sister Tracy L. Taylor and husband William, her niece Jennifer M. Payne, and her nephews John A. Stevenson Jr and James Taylor and his wife Christiana.
