Obituary of Michael Piazza

Michael Piazza 63, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. Michael is a retiree of Mercer County, where he was employed as a land surveyor. He was an avid New York Mets, Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Blackhawks fan. Michael enjoyed playing quoits and bowling. He was a member and past president of the Kings and Dolls Bowling League, and a proud team member of the “Pinstigators”. He was a longtime member of Trenton Polish American Democratic Society (TPADS). Michael served as a bartender and was on the Board of Directors at TPADS. One of his fondest memories was working for Maruca’s Pizza in Seaside Heights in the 1970’s. Son of the late Albert C. Piazza, Sr., brother of the late Albert C. Piazza, Jr.; he is survived by his wife Karen Piazza; his son Michael R. Piazza, his daughter Victoria R. Piazza; his mother Decca Piazza, his sister JoAnn Piazza; one nephew Tyler Kelly; three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and their families; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. The visitation for Michael will be held on Monday morning from 9:30-11:00AM in the daily chapel at the church.
