My Aunt Cak lived her life as the true example of showing unconditional love. This beautiful characteristic was how Aunt Cak, my Mom, and grandma helped shaped our amazing family. Aunt Caks love and spirit will always continue to shine on each of us. I am forever grateful to have been blessed with Aunt Cak!!

I am blessed in this life to have had the best big sisters. Cak and Sis were like second Mothers to me. Cak and Sport's children, Lisa and George were practically siblings. What fun we had over the decades. Janet and I will miss Cak deeply. Her courage this past year was amazing. Having the energy to enjoy Kate and Kevin's wedding was miraculous. She will always be in the room for Eagles - Giants games. She will serve as the spiritual Commissioner of Easter Bas-ket. Cak was always the first to call and congratulate after Villanova victories. Her joy of living and loving remains with us all. We love you, Cak.

I'm grateful for Carol as she was a loving mother to my brother-in-law and a fabulous grandmother to my nieces!

As soon as the Tigers moved into 315 Glenn Ave, the Rivero's got a lifetime of friendship. Mrs. T and my Mom became best of friends, and together they made sure our childhood was pretty magical. Between the summer meals thrown together from each other's kitchen, to toasting "Salud" with their Old Fashioned cocktails on the back porch, to our dog Abby eating all the chicken wings they spent all day cooking for a get-together, Mrs. T became my second Mom. I would like to picture those two old friends playing cards, laughing, and sipping cocktails together now. Looking down on us - hoping we are doing our part to keep it magical. Love you Mrs T.

Cak was my sister Therese’s mother-in-law and that was a hidden blessing to me. Cak became my role model for how to be a loving, accepting, insightful and totally present grandmother. The tender memories she made with her grandchildren will live in their hearts.

As old Glenn Ave neighbors in Lawrence, the Dunns (Janet, Howard, Tom and Deede) have such wonderful memories of so many fun times with the Tiger family. May Carol (Mrs. Tiger) rest in peace; our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Throughout Therese and George’s long marriage, I have heard story after story of Cak’s positivity and her ongoing engagement with and support of her grandkids. I also had the pleasure of seeing her on my visits to Philly. I know how lucky the Tigers felt to have her as a mom, grandma and mother in law. May she rest in peace.

Carol Tiger was the one person everyone should have had the pleasure of meeting. She embraced life to the fullest seeking out the best in others and to share their happiness and joy. When Carol walked into a room she brought a keen wit, articulate, well versed in a variety of timely topics, joyous, embracing and spreading goodwill with all.. The Ksanznak Family and the Tiger Family shared a dynamic friendship throughout our lives, The K children held Carol in deep respect and admiration. They felt she was always there with a hug and kind words and to put band aids on their hurts. As Principal of the Ben Franklin School, Carol helped me to implement the Great Books Program in our Library. She quickly found a host of mothers to work with her to make this program a showcase in the school district. When we expanded our classrooms to add Classroom Assistants all the Primary Teachers wanted Carol Tiger assigned to their classroom. We had the good fortune of spending summer vacations in Long Beach Island with the Tiger Family. When we were on the beach, Carol would be organizing games of whiffle baseball, flag football, soccer games, surfboard contests and then sharing her recent novel readings with the adults. At any given moment the K family loving the JETS would have an interesting verbal exchange about the demise of her favorite, NY GIANYS. One of my precious memories of Carol was when Spider Lockhart of the NY GIANTS, and one of Carol's favorite players was at our house on Barnett Road. I had Spider Lockhart call Carol on the phone and thank her for being a loyal fan. Carol was in awe and shock for a week! She loved watching professional sports but her greatest interest was in the Lawrence Township sports programs, She was a fixture at soccer, baseball, football and basketball games not only cheering for the Tiger or Ksanznak players but for all the Lawrence Twp players. Carol was bigger than Life and will always be with us. At some time, in the future, we will all remember her heartfelt laughter, charming smile, abundance of curiosity, bundles of energy, willingness to help those most in need of help and comfort, engaging personality and leaving us as better people because we knew and loved her. The Good Lord is welcoming a very talented and loving woman who will bring even more joy and happiness to the heavenly body to share with our loved ones and departed friends.
