David M. Gill, CTA, 79, died at his home on Monday, August 22, 2022. Born in Trenton, NJ, Dave was a lifetime New Jersey resident, living most of his life in Ringos. David was born September 8, 1942, and attended the Pennington School, Lake Forest University, and Rutgers University. David lived a life of service to others. He served in the National Guard, worked for years in private enterprise, and then found his true calling as a public servant. David was a certified tax assessor who served many municipalities over the years. He was a creative individual who designed computer programs and managed government websites. David was a good friend to many and could entertain people by talking about his beloved cats and the latest technology he bought. He is predeceased by his mother, Janet Gill Minschwaner, father George G. Minschwaner II, MD, and his father's wife Evelyn, brother George M. Gill and his wife, Evelyn. He will be missed deeply by two nephews, James Albert Gill and Scott George Gill, his wife Tara A. Gill, his grandnephews Adam R. Gill, Logan S. Gill, Brody F. Gill, and Derek W. Gill, grandniece, Clara E. Gill, his trusted neighbor Chuck Nass and many friends. A short graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, September 2 at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Church Cemetery. In place of flowers, donations in his memory may be made online to Tabby's Place (a Cat Sanctuary).
