Edythe “Pat” Bedson, 94, of Lawrenceville passed away at home on August 2, 2022.

Born in Leona, NJ she had been a resident of Lawrenceville for more than 65 years. Pat was employed as a primary teacher at Eldridge Park School from 1950 to 1953. She then became a homemaker to raise her four children devoting many years of service to Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, Meals on Wheels and the Boy Scouts of America.

Pat is predeceased by her parents, Gordon Dickinson Muller and Edythe Margaret Van Houten; husband Joseph Henry Bedson, Jr.; son Joseph Henry Bedson, III; and brothers John and Gordon.

Pat is survived by her loving sons Gordon “Ed” Bedson and Drew Bedson; and daughter Patricia Claycombe; grandchildren Andrew, Joseph Henry, Meghan, Katie, Laura, James Nick, Julie and Josh and will be missed by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 15, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors located at 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Burial will be private.
