Obituary of Robert A. Mills

Robert A. Mills, “Bob”, 68, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday June 23, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania he was a long time resident of Lawrenceville. Son of the late Arthur Mills and Joan Cressman; he is survived by his loving wife Janice Mills; son Robert Mills Jr; brother Michael Mills and wife Janice, sisters Debbie Farrell and Denise Landolf and husband Michael; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graduating from Temple University with a B.S. in Accounting, Bob started his career as a banker but spent most of his working years as a National Bank Examiner for the O.C.C. He loved his home, doing the NY Times crossword puzzles, playing with his dogs and everything Beatles. Summer vacations were spent on the beach at Cape Cod and winters he loved downhill skiing. He was a big fan of Garrison Keillor and made a mean meatloaf. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Memorial Service will be held on July 1, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church located at 2220 Pennington Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08638. Burial will immediately follow at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to www.shoresaves.com a non-profit animal rescue organization.
