Ruth G. Myernick, 96, of Spring Lake, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, before moving to Spring Lake. Ruth is a retiree of ETS, where she was an executive secretary. She was a loving and devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Ruth loved her family, socializing, travel, was a huge soccer fan and had a smile that could light up a room. Daughter of the late James and Gertrude McDonough, mother of the late Glenn Myernick, wife of the late Robert Myernick; she is survived by her daughter Gail Taylor, her son Robert Myernick; her grandchildren Kelly Kubin, Travis Myernick, Katie Taylor, Winfield Taylor; four great-grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. The viewing for Ruth will be held on Monday morning from 9-11AM at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association P.O. Box 6844, Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648
