Marion Masalski Fournier Morreale, 88, of Hamilton, died peacefully on Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Marion was a resident of Lawrenceville for many years before moving to Hamilton Township in 2006. Marion graduated from Hamilton High School West, class of 1951, before her employment as Secretary for Hamilton Township Schools. In following years, she was employed as Secretary for Lawrence Township Intermediate School, and then Lawrence Township Special Services, before retiring in 1995. Marion was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She found great joy in hosting family gatherings and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church, and a member of the spiritual organization, Sodality of Our Lady, in her younger years. She was a skilled gardener and avid reader of classics and religious thrillers such as Gone With the Wind and House of Lions. Her and her husband were talented dancers who loved to Polka, and frequently attended dances in Almonessen, New Jersey. Wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Morreale, Sr; Daughter of the late Louis Fournier and Harriett Fournier; sister-in-law of the late Antoinette “Dot” Morreale, John Morreale, Sylvia Morreale and Marion Deutscher; mother-in-law of the late John F. X. Stever, II. Marion is survived by her sister, Lois Brand; her daughters Kathleen M. Stever, and Deborah Gigliotti (Joseph); her son Salvatore Morreale, Jr; her grandchildren John Stever (Laura), Matthew Stever, Andrew Krause (Liz), Eric Krause (Madison), Miranda Krause and Megan Morreale; her great grandchildren Macie Stever and Charlotte Krause; her brother-in-law Charles D. Morreale, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Memorial contributions to honor Marion may be made to St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton, NJ 08638
