Monica Bonczkiewicz, 79, of Lawrenceville, died on Monday in the University Medical Center at Princeton.

Born in Olyphant, PA she had been a Lawrenceville resident for the past forty eight years.

Mrs. Bonczkiewicz was a loving wife, and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the St. Hedwig Church in Trenton.

Daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Harhut Zuczek, she is survived by her husband Nicholas Bonczkiewicz, her two sons Walter M. Bonczkiewicz, and Ronald N. Bonczkiewicz and his wife Karen, her daughter Debra Hartman, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are her two sisters: Genevieve Zuczek and Mary Boyer, her two brothers: Stanley and Michael Zuczek and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Fr. Jacek Labinski, pastor of St. Hedwig Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
