Obituary of Mary S. Halloran

Mary S. Halloran, 89, of Robbinsville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at home. She worked as a secretary at American Steel & Wire. She later went on to work as a secretary for the Diocese of Trenton. Mary was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig's Church and, more recently, a parishioner at St. Gregory the Great in Hamilton Square. An independent woman, Mary enjoyed travel with her husband to Ireland, San Francisco, Florida, and New York City, usually with a stop for lunch at Fraunces Tavern. Mary enjoyed walks on the beach at LBI and was an avid fan of Rutgers football, the Giants and the Steelers. She was meticulous at keeping records and always remembering dates and events that happened throughout her life. She was a loving and devoted aunt and godmother who will be dearly missed by all for her loving and nurturing ways. Daughter of the late Stanislaw and Maryanna Wojnarowicz, sister of the late Anna Szul, John “Sandy” Wojnarowicz, Agnes Nizolek and Joseph Wojnarowicz, and wife of the late Charles J. Halloran; she is survived by her nieces/nephews and their families, Carol Szul, Lois Jusiewicz, John Nizolek and his wife Margaret, Stanley Wojnarowicz, Sandra Brodbeck, Nancy Castiglia, John W. Haller, Kathleen M. Haller, William J. Halloran III, Christine A. Wiedemer and Colleen M. Halloran, grandnieces/grandnephews, Jennifer Dugal (Kevin), Amy Tkacs (Stephen), James Nizolek (Holly) and Jason Nizolek (Joanne), great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews Kyle Dugal, Emme Dugal, Hailey Tkacs, Reilly Tkacs, Wyatt Nizolek, Juliette Nizolek, Keira Nizolek and Colin Nizolek, nine godchildren and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp., NJ. The viewing for Mary will be held on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:00AM in the daily chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Anchor House 482 Centre St, Trenton, NJ 08611 or a charity of your choice.
