Obituary of Magdalen M. Virok

Magdalen “Madge” Virok of Trenton, NJ passed away peacefully on January 12, 2022 at the age of 97 at home. Born and raised in Trenton, a 1942 Trenton Central High School graduate, and a longtime administrative associate at PSE&G before retiring in 1992. She derived the most enjoyment from playing Mrs. Claus at the company’s holiday party. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Angels/Immaculate Conception Church serving in various ministries and activities. In 1997, she moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where she spent 14 quality years. She served as a lector and Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, an organization dear to her heart. In 2011, she moved back to Trenton to be with her family. Magdalen was predeceased by her parents, John J. and Gizella Lampert Mrazik, a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Zamerowski, and two brothers, John (Jack) Mrazik and Joseph (Bud) Mrazik. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Rosie, her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and John Siracusa, Kris Johnson, Ellen and Mark Stillitano, Marianne and Patrick Kent, Janet and Dan Martenak, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, so many blessings. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Edith Mrazik, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:30AM at St. Raphael’s-Holy Angels Parish, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Interment will be held at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Clover Avenue, Hamilton. The visitation for Madge will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30-10: 15 at the church. The family would like to thank the outstanding, compassionate Vitas Healthcare Hospice Team members who were by Mom’s side towards the end of her journey. The family will be forever grateful for their love and dedication.
