Obituary of Anthony Martynuik, Jr.

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Born, raised and proud to be a New Jersey native, Anthony Martynuik (aka Mr. Plumber and Tony), 72 years old, has made his presence known and left New Jersey to continue his journey. Born on June 8, 1949, he passed peacefully in his sleep on November 22, 2021 with a beloved friend by his side after a long battle, fighting to stick around a little longer. Tony worked up until the day of his passing, doing what he loved doing; making people smile and providing exceptional customer service. He is survived by his four children Anthony Martynuik, Erik Martynuik, Tonia Vinecombe, Kera Martynuik and 7 grandchildren. If you ever met Tony, he left a memorable impression, whether it was jaw dropping or pure admiration. He worked his way to a life full of travel and endless pleasure. Tony was known for his work ethic and endless customer service. He was a one a kind, that this world was lucky to have. He stated on multiple occasions "This life is so nice, I'd like to live it twice". The streets will forever miss seeing his Mr. Plumber truck driving down the road with a puff of smoke trailing out the window. His endless kindness, compassion, frankness, and desire to be his genuine self at all times will be forever remembered. Tony always had a smiley face near and this is what he would want everyone reading this obituary to have, a smile on their face and to "have a nice life". His family would like to thank everyone that assisted Tony in living his best life until the very end. A Celebration of Tony’s life and gathering will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 3:30-5:30PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. The family is requesting all attendees to wear something casual to Tony’s gathering. Tony would want everyone to celebrate his life and to NOT mourn his passing. Veni Vidi Vici.
