Florence was a carefree and deeply religious spirit, praying the rosary every day. One of her favorite enjoyments were her many visits to the Atlantic City casinos with her brother, Andy, her niece, Margie, and several friends. She loved westerns, watching every episode of every 60’s era western ever made. A favorite food request was Jeff’s home-made sauce with spaghetti and meatballs and Chelsee’s peach cobbler.
In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband Frank, her son Victor, and her five brothers, Walter, Joseph, Edward J., Rev. Robert and Andrew Skurla. She is survived by her loving Grand-niece and special care-giver Chelsee Skurla; her nieces Marjorie Callahan, and her husband Jeff, and Sandra Skurla; her Grand-nephew Adam Callahan, and his wife Taylor; Grand-nieces Shannon San Filippo, and her husband Matthew, Beth Ann Stas, and her husband Alex, Sara Halter, Lindsey Meyer, and her husband Seth; and her great-grand nieces/nephews Gianna Trani, James McDonough, Jeffrey Halter, Nicolas Andrew San Filippo and Mia San Filippo.
