Obituary of Waltraud A. Greatti

Waltraud A. Greatti, 87, of Lawrenceville died peacefully at home on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. “Tee,” as she was known to family and friends, was born in Breslau, Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1957 from East Germany. She raised her family in Lawrenceville where she resided for 60 years. Until her retirement in 2009, she was a dedicated employee of EMR Photoelectric, Princeton for 28 years. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Dean Greatti (Dana), Morrisville, PA; Edward Greatti (Joy), Ivyland, PA; Mario Greatti and Karen Greatti, Lawrenceville; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Hedwig Bohn Heimlich, of Germany, and stepson Gene Greatti. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, 11 AM, at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton, NJ. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
